The following are list of available courses in Federal School of Surveying, Oyo and their respective requirements.
Candidates must have five credits in English Language, Mathematics and Physics and any two of the following subjects:
In addition to the above the student must pass UTME in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other subject from the above list and Post UTME examination.
Candidates must possess National Diploma (ND) in Surveying and Geoinformatics (or Land Surveying) at minimum of Lower Credit and evidence of one year post ND Industrial Attachment experience. In addition, candidates must have requisite entry qualification for the National Diploma (ND) programme. Candidates with ordinary pass at ND level must have at least two (2) years post ND experience
Candidates must possess first degree (with Honours) with at least Second Class Lower Division in subjects cognate to surveying, such as Mathematics, Physics, Geography with Mathematics, Civil Engineering, Geology and Geophysics. Candidates must possess basic entry requirement for National Diploma (ND) in Surveying and Geoinformatics which must include Credit Pass in English Language, Mathematics and Physics. In addition, candidates must be computer literate plus evidence of National Youth Service or Exemption Certificate.
Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in Surveying and Geoinformatics (or Land Surveying) with a minimum of Upper Credit. In addition, there must be evidence of National Youth Service or Exemption Certificate and Computer literacy. Successful candidates of Federal School of Surveying, Oyo Pre-Postgraduatel Diploma programme are also qualified.
Candidate must possess good honours degree or HND in the fields of sciences, Engineering and Business Management and in courses such as Surveying, Geography, Physics, Computer Science, Town Planning, Estate Management, Geology, Civil Engineering, Statistics, Forestry, Cartography, Architecture, Educational Management, Business Administration and Marketing. In addition, there must be evidence of National Youth Service or Exemption Certificate and evidence of computer literacy.
